hahaha, I did it.
Only when I left all the usual crypto~ and opened my mind.
Anyway, it is a damn puzzle. I would use it in a RPG adventure if still playing.

this is so stupid, i lost sleep over this stupid puzzle, and while looking for the puzzle again, i found the answer, by accident. Which sucked, but i wouldnt have ever gotten the answer. I got the around part, but i saw all the dice as one rose, not each dice as a rose.

Some guy on Wikipedia posted a solution, you know. Took alot of effort to solve it without looking.
The Bill Gates article helped too...the "The 6 can be a 2 and it doesn't change the answer..." part.
