I've been staring at this thing for days and driving myself crazy. I was thisclose to trying to threaten someone into giving me the answer. Then I woke up a few minutes ago (it's 1am) and I decided to give it one more shot before going back to bed and BLAM! it suddenly hit me. I solved it. I can sleep now.

I never spent more than a few minutes on this, but came back to it several times before I figured it out. An interesting challenge!

took a few tries, but once you actually stop thinking it actually makes more sense. i especially like the bit in the "history" section trying to make us poor guessers feel better by saying "the smarter you are, the more difficult it is"

Took me about 20 mins...figured it out and then read about the history of the game...now I got all my friends trying to figure it out.

I was introduced to this game about ten years ago sitting in a diner. Took me a little while but, about 45 minutes if I recall correctly, but the answer is forever etched on my brain
