Everything is math, except art (which can choose not to be).
It took me until the 7th guess to figure the the puzzle out, but I still don't understand the significance of the name of the game.

Well, the name gave it away really. About 3 wrong guesses (thought it was a tally around the 6's?), and then I had it. Pretty cool! I'll have to try it on the family...

This was so fun! All the kids in my class were trying to get it and when i got it i felt so stupid trying to use maths to solve it.

Found this on chat.deviantart.com/chat/dAmnpuzzles and then came here to test out my theory (you get limited guesses in the puzzle there). I feel really, really stupid, having spent about 100 minutes on this puzzle, only to discover I was looking at it completely the wrong way. Stupid me.
