The colored dice on the computer screen threw me off for a while, (in the example of Bill Gates) But I just kept repeating the name... and looking at the answers on the story of Bill Gates until I got it... it took me about 30 minutes.

This took me a few minutes; I too tried mathematical formulas and what-not  Although I must say even when i realsied it was about the dots on the outside, I got it wrong :P I was counting the ones that didnty have a rose in the middle

That took me a few minuites, I tried lots of mathematical ideas, but none of them turned out to be right. So I thought about the puzzle in a different sence and hey presto! The answer popped into my head.
