Neat! Took a few minutes and a few examples. Quite obvious when you know it.

Ooops, it was satisfying to find the answer. The clue to the answer finally lies in the question itself.

Got lucky after 5 rolls and spotted it. Going to confound all my mates who are (supposed to be) studying for finals.

I can't believe I spent an hour and half trying to use matrices to set a coefficient for each die. It totally didn't work and I felt ridiculously discouraged. Then, I took another look at the name, and I realized exactly what the rose was. It was so simple. Yet so complex...

I remember the game as the Polar Bear game. What is the correct name?

I figured out the petals around the rose game today. We play it in science some times and I decided to try and figure it out at home. Its so easy. Once you get the concept I mean. A class of kindergardeners could most likely figure it out. I'm so happy that i got it!

Interesting puzzle. It took me about 15-20 minutes to figure this out. Reading the story about Bill helped.
