Took me about a half hour to get this right. we were playing with 5 die one of which happened to be a red one though and that threw me off in the begining given the name is pedals around the rose. i dont think i solve this the way most people do but i can solve it none the less. tricky lil puzzle

I first learned of Petals Around the Rose in about 1965. Drove me nuts for a few days, and at one point, the answer hit me in the middle of the night.... I woke up (I was about 14 years old then), and KNEW I had become a member... The answer was..."Petals around the rose... nothing can be more revelaling than that!"

The stress almost drove me nuts. Then I saw the light. How many other situations of life do we over analyze.

Some days I feel like the dumbest person on the planet...I wonder what the other days will feel like.

The best part is showing this to your friends and watching the smart ones struggle with this teaser, the whole time wearing that evil, crazy grin on your face And seeing THEIR faces once they finally get it.

it goes to show that the more complicated something seems to be, the simpler it is... = P

I can't believe how many sheets I filled with failed equations and algorithms. A very interesting puzzle but the solution will make you kick yourself for not understanding it sooner. "What's in a name?"
