I spent half an our trying to find the mathematical pattern of the dices before I finally realised where to look for the answer. I guess I'm not really that much of an artistic, visually-inclined right-brain person despite my being an artist (well, sort of).

It had me going for about 20 minutes but the Gates story made it clear how to solve it then afterwards I figured out the significance of the petals.
Seems to be much fuss about a brain teaser...

Hey I finally got this problem. Boy its easy once you stop and think about it. As soon as I thought i had the answer i just kept running off the numbers. I kept getting them right. I must have done it over 20 times.

i figured this out after 2 tries...i think i'm missing why it makes sense though...i figured it out just by counting so if someone could fill me in on the deeper reasoning i would be very thankful!
