Solved it in 16 throws. Now, who here wants to play "It's the Essence Not the Meaning??"

i finally got it always remember that the name of the game is "petals around the rose" and the answer is always even # and 0 wanna some cigar

That took way to long to be so simple.....I'm angry at myself, yet I feel accomplished now that i've got it. Once you start, you can't stop til you've got it.

erm, not sure how this is going to sound but i actually got it on the first roll...the fact that we are told the clue is in the name made it pretty obvious what it required.
i do feel a little smug seeing some people have spent days figuring it out...

I loked at it and with just a few rolls with answers i thought about it and in less than five minutes had sussed it. i've quickly shown four others, one of which lost interest trying, another took three straight hurs and got it, aanother is clueless and taking time, another is agonising over it still from many, many hours of slaving over it. One thing i can't work out, is why they say the name PatR is signifigant...i think i missed that bit in my mental workings...

we were just trying this for some class, and now im totally hooked.

Jesus I wasted a whole lotta time - I wrote the sample ones down as numbers and took it to work and couldn't for the life of me figure it out. Now I'm home after work, used the interactive one on this site and got it in about 10 minutes. That was nuts! I'm gonna get so many people hooked on this, I can't wait!
