It came to me all of a sudden and I felt like yelling, "Eureka!"

again, after probably 40 years of once
being a member and I actually have a
Petals Around the Rose membership card.
....don't know how to scan it, but it's really cool. I just ran across it , thats what made me come here to ck it out...didn't remember what it was until now.

Solved in 10 minutes! A very fun puzzle, and I look forward to being a total snob.

I've loved it!

Learned this game at a Barn Players Summer Theater Christmas party in Miles City, MT, many, many years ago. There I was told that the only thing I could be told was that the name of the game was Polar Bears Around the Ice Hole, but that some people called the game Rose Petals Around the Rose. No mention was made of the number always being even, and, frankly, I prefer it that way.

Love this game!

I actually tried going to the Internet for help. While I didn't actually see the solution, I saw someone's hint of "slatep eht tnuoc" and then I got it.

Anyway, I'm a bad potenate. I already gave away the answer to three of my teachers.
