When I read about this game it reminded me of a similar game I used to play. The idea was to throw 5 dices and discover how many 'holes', 'seals' and 'polarbears' there are. A clue was to say that seals were always underneath the holes and polarbears were around the holes. Quite the same as this Petals around the rose game, so I solved it immediately.

About 10 minutes, and then I got it. To me it was essential to see the old throws. I would probably have needed pen and paper if I had been shown this with real dice. My memory isn't like Bill Gates'...

Got it! The game was e-mailed to me at work. I messed with it for 15 mins but that was it. I thought about the name of the game for the rest of the day. When I got on the PC tonight it took about 10 mins to put all the pieces together. This was a lot of fun and I will pass it on to my friends.

smile Nice game. I found the game by reading the dutch magazine "Kijk". It took me about 30 minutes to solve it.

The Bill Gates story on this website helped me to solve the problem.

Good luck
