Petals Around the Rose: Fraternity Register

YAY!!!!! I finally got it! Actually, I think it should be called Petals Around the Roses! Great, now I can sleep...

Got it after looking at a few of the rolls in the Bill Gates story. A cute problem with the potential to drive some people crazy.

Took me two evenings and lots of notes of what was *not* important about the rolls, but very pleased to have figured it out.

I noticed my great uncle's name , Richard Wells, on here. He refers to his great niece (my sister), who e-mailed the site to me. I figured it out in about an hour.

Got it in about three tries. Nice mind teaser. Great niece in college in Texas said that she was having a time with it. Thanks

I use this teaser with my students every year to spark discussion and to get their minds working during a time of year when they want to shut down.

I was introduced to this a couple years ago, with physical dice. It took me maybe half a dozen rolls? Cute game tho.

These were (probably) the most stressful 20 minutes of my life, because almost all of my friends got it and they were asking me: "So, did u get it, did u get it?" and I was smth like: "Almost...Yeah...I think I got it (NOT)". I didn't want to seem in any way dumber than them (especially that they were all men). Oh, this was fun Gimme another one
