Now this is weird! I thought I recognized the kind of riddle, but that solution did not match. I ACTUALLY FOUND ANOTHER SOLUTION TO THIS RIDDLE! Only later I saw the 'simple' solution smile. So now there are two ways of solving the problem.... (hint: 'my' solution is more mathematical)!

OK, it's 4:30 am in December and I'm cleaning out old e-mail and I see one from September with the link to this site. So I say what the heck and I start playing (then turn off my PC speakers - what an annoying tune!) Over the past 4 months I've looked at this 2 or 3 times, spending about 15 minutes each time. This time, I start drawing the die sequences on a piece of paper. For some reason, with three rolls (and one lucky guess), the "pattern" on the paper made something click, and I had it. Duh, the name of the game is important! Too good a clue, or easy when you know how? Hmmmm.

I tried all sorts of complicated things like Fibboncci sequences, sorting into groups etc. Then it dawned on me. Shows why we have flat foreheads.

Argh! Took me ages, I even wrote out a couple on paper to look at before I went to sleep! (I tried algebra briefly too...) I was thinking along completely the wrong track. roll eyes (sarcastic)
