I found the answer (quite fast), but there's a little thing that makes the puzzle a needless more difficult. Don't know if i'm allowed to say but
the color's are not important, so why should we use different colors?

I got it finally. Good puzzle. Had me getting mad at some points when I got 2 in a row only to find out I was doing the wrong thing. XP

I over thought this for a while, read the first part of the article and realized it had to be something you could solve quickly and that got me on the right track.

Nice way to get the brain juices flowing on a slow work day.

Three minutes, and man was I silly actually taking paper out to write the rolls down!

I'm still annoyed it took me nearly an hour to figure out something so blindingly simple.

Maybe it's a wake up call for me to not look so closely at things... Wink

Heh. yeah, I'm not a very patient person, when I couldn't figure it out in three rolls like everyone was claiming they could, I read the article. I was about to the point where it talked about the guy getting phonecalls with outrageous solutions when I happened to scroll back through the rolls. My first simulated roll I thought it would be the number of spots on the dice surrounding the red die. Then, when that didn't pan out, I did a double take and had my solution.

It was actually sort of funny. But I think it's a good idea to have the die different colors because it throws people off the track. And what's the whole point of a brainteaser if not to make people feel really over-archingly stupid when they figure it out?

Exactly! I got the link from someone's Livejournal, and he had to sleep on it to figure it out, then I got it in 10 minutes. I had no idea at all what to do until it popped into my head, and then the solution was clear.

It is so blindingly easy. I felt really stupid afterwards... I was never really good at brain teasers including numbers... Laughing

I enjoyed the game, funny, after reading the directions and repeating the name of the game. An idiom popped into my head "As plain as the nose on your face'. Idea Then I got it.

Took me 2.5 hours of on-again, off-again fiddling with it. And what TICKS me off is I knew the key was the word "rose"....

Yep, trying hard definitely adds time to the solution, but fun is not in the quickness, but in the doing!!! Laughing Cheers!
