This from CNN:
STORY DELETED. "BYE BYE MGM" Studios bought out, re-issuing files only-no new films.
Oh how the march of time and economics swallows up even the giants! You will be sorely missed, O Mighty Lion!!

what a shame that MGM is gone... an end to a golden era.... when i was little i use to like to watch the start to their films , my nan always seem to have an old flim on which we all use to sit and watch.... this brings back alot of memories for me , still there will be somthing else to replace it sooner or later.... |

Hi Denise
Hopefully Sony will keep up the tradition of MGM issueing quality films. I think they own, or at least control Columbia and its holdings.
I am glad you like the postings-as you can see not many respond, but lots look as the viewing chart shows. I get a big bang out of some of these too!!
I've missed your posts, hope all has been well! Is the battle of the computer still going on?
Cheers! Charly _________________ Live in The Light and See Forever~ MD <kix466@yahoo.com> |
