I enjoyed the little puzzle so much, I decided to make a php version, i'm sure it can be done better by someody else, but I whipped it up in under 5 minutes while I was bored.

G'day Haz,
I've been meaning to implement a PHP based version of Petals Around the Rose for a few months now. I'm hoping it will solve some browser incompatibility issues some people are having.

I think you really should. For all that talk about not giving away the algorithm, it is way too easy to find in the JavaScript.
Bit disappointed by that. |

Exactly. While I applaud your implementation of the game and love the story about it, especially the Gates angle, I think that you should atleast obfuscate the javascript if not move to the PHP version thats already been created.
