I solved it without the name, and then when I looked at my solution, I realized how relevant the name was and how much easier solving the problem in that manner would have been.
I was able to crack it, though I was delayed significantly by the colors of the dice. I was looking at red and green dice because both of those colors are present on an ordinary rose...
