After refreshments in the Portsea Cafe with Andy, Sam, Tom and company, I headed back to the car. I came across Tony and Deb in the car park having finished their first pier dive. We decided to have lunch and then team up for a dive of Portsea Pier and out onto the reef.

We entered off of the beach, and proceeded slowly underwater out to the end of the Portsea Pier. We then turned left and headed over to the reef area.

We slowly explored the reef. Spotted a number of stingrays, plus two weedy sea dragons. Plenty of other interesting marine life everywhere.

When I was down to 80 bar we went back over to Portsea Pier and soon after ended the dive, exiting via the beach.

We changed out of our gear and caught up for an ice cream and drinks at the corner cafe. Then it was back to The Scuba Doctor for air fills and the wine tasting. The usual suspects were there.

Dr Stuart Cannon gave Dave and I a really good run through his rebreather setup and what the plusses and minusses of using them were.
